On all Virgin Voyages ships, there are a number of high-end shopping experiences that allow you to pay for your newfound treasures with the swipe of your wrist band. The charge for any purchase made will go against any Sailor Loot you have in your account, and any remaining balance will be charged to your credit card. It’s simple, fun, and gives you an upscale experience similar to shopping at high-end boutiques.
High Street Shops
On the 6th deck of all Virgin Voyages ships is an area called High Street. There are several shopping experiences available that are noteworthy on High Street. The shops on High Street are elegant, fashionable, luxurious, and full of upscale products.
When you first enter the High Street area, you can see Booty Free, which is a spirits shop for people with refined tastes in alcohol. The Booty Free shop also does tastings, so keep an eye out for those!
The Makeup Porthole is a small shop that sells MAC Cosmetics. There are several options to try before you buy, and the Makeup Porthole hosts events leading up to Scarlet Night to help you put your best face forward for the wildest party on the ship!
In addition to those, there are several small shops selling brands like Bulgari, Citizen Eco-Drive, and Louis Vuitton. If you are looking to find a new sparkly bauble or something fun to wear, you will find it on High Street.
Finally, it’s worth noting that the Virgin Voyages merchandise shop is located on High Street as well so you can take home your own red ship swag.
Voyage Vinyl
Yes, there is a record shop on the 7th deck of the Scarlet Lady called Voyage Vinyl! Virgin Voyages is heavily influenced by music, so it only makes sense to sell Virgin records onboard as well. The record shop is only open during limited times (approximately two hours per day), and it has a limited run of the Sex Pistols’ Never Mind the Bollocks album in red vinyl. There were only 1000 of these records made, and they are only available on the Scarlet Lady, so grab one before they are gone!
The Hammock
If you have a room with a terrace, then you have no doubt sat, or lounged, in a lovely red woven hammock. Well, those hand-woven hammocks are for sale in a little shop on the 7th deck, just outside of the entrance to The Wake. The hammock comes in multiple colors as well, if red doesn’t suit you. This shop also has sun hats, jewelry, and beachy items for sale.
